ICE Wellness Center
- Consumer-providers offer
other mental health consumers an environment of support and
empowerment that promotes wellness, which is a state of social, spiritual,
mental/emotional and physical health.
Community Advocates -
a
community-based program that provides individualized support, education and
advocacy services for adult persons with mental illness.
Boarding Home Outreach -
provides services to Atlantic County’s 12 Boarding Homes and
Residential Health Care Facilities.
Peer Outreach Support Team
- Consumer-providers offer
other mental health consumers assistance in linking to concrete services,
advocate with consumers on both an individual and systems level, and serve
as role models.
Services to Families
Intensive Family Support
Services - a comprehensive program of supportive services and
activities designed to assist families who have a relative with mental
illness.
Acute IFSS Care Family
Support- support services are offered to
families whose relative is in the process of being screened for a
psychiatric hospital admission.
Parent Education -
Since
1992, MHAAC has become a leader in parenting education - conducting over 100
parent education programs to more than 1,200 families in Atlantic and Cape
May Counties.
